[The Last Minute Shopper]

I liked quite a bit about this movie!

I liked the animation, the graphical style, I liked the way I actually wanted to watch the credits, because of the comic book/story board you had overlayed into them (The panning in which, I must say, was very professional looking) And I also liked your story.

I have to say that from the title, I thought it was going to be a light-hearted thing, maybe a few laughs here and there, but I was (pleasantly) surprised when it turned out to be quite dark and gritty!

Well...

Personally, from a visual standpoint, I didnt think it looked too great. I could tell you put a lot of effort into it, but still, the visuals wernt that great.

HOWEVER! I did, astonishingly, find it very scary. Maybe its becuase im not that great at coping with scary films in general, but I can honestly say at one point I was covering my eyes in fear that something was going to jump out at me, so you definitely accomplished your goal in that aspect, for me at least.

Overall, very good effort! Work on your art a bit more, and put as much effort into your next productions as you did on this one, and im sure you will go far :)

Wow thank you for your review! I haven't worked in flash for to long so I'm still trying to figure out how to put my thoughts in animation. I'll definitely work on the graphics, I tend to rush things.

Quite nice

Very sinister, which was played across very well in your drawing style, scratchy pen and all. Wasn't entirely sure on what exactly was going on, so if you are going to make more, I would advise you to make it clearer to the audience what exactly the story is.

Very interesting to watch

I enjoyed it quite a bit, not much happened by terms of action, but it was quite stylish.

Also, I take it the 3:16 on the clock was a biblical reference? If not, what an amazing co-incidence :P

Hmmm...it was quite nice

Was of a good quality, but I found the problem was there was very little variation. For one, everyone used stick figures, which got a bit boring by the time the 5th clip came around, but not only that, apart from maybe one or two parts, there were no real background either, this just made it less interesting to watch even more so. Whilst the stick animation in each part was very good, it left somthing to be desired.

Ok, it was good, but...

You seriously need to optimise audio. Look, here's an explaination. In flash, go to "FIle -> Publish Settings -> Flash Tab" Then under the "Audio Steam" and "Audio event" tabs, click "Set" and change these both to 48kbps. This is the lowest you can go without seriously reducing the quality. Then, when you publish this file again, it should be at least 3mb smaller.

Anyway, It was an OK, flash, you still need to do some work on backgrounds and characters, and maybe some effects too, but hey, not bad.
